Our jury team is super excited to look at all the applications this year. Please do be understanding. We get an immense number of applications but can only accept 40.

Greetings artists, makers and doers of all sorts!

Coterie Chicago has been asked once again to provide a tent full of objects and talents to entice the Pitchfork Music Festival attendees in beautiful Union Park in Chicago. We are accepting applications to be juried, as we only have 40 spaces.

What’s in your hopper?

This year Coterie Chicago at Pitchfork Music Festival is offering space to doers as well as makers. So many artists wear a multitude of hats. This is an opportunity to offer some of our spaces to what we are calling our “service bazaar”. We are looking for folks in the service sector to offer things like haircuts/hair adornment, hypnotists/timeout space, non-binding health care consultations, cooling head massages and the like. We are open to your suggestions! The booth space will be the same 6′ x 8′ so let your legal imagination run wild, and let your intangible creative friends know about this opportunity. We encourage collaborations between spaces. Please do fill out the application and pay the application fee in order to be considered.

When?

This year’s festival runs July 19th – 21st this year with gates at 3pm on Friday, and 12pm on Saturday and Sunday. If accepted you will need to participate all three days and remain open during the hours of the festival as well as meet our participation requirements listed in the FAQ.

How Much?

The fee for the 6′ x 8′ space will be $185 this year, which includes three chairs. Eight foot tables may be rented from us for the three days at a cost of $30. There is a $10 non-refundable application fee. All fees will be payable through pay-pal on our website. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, May 15th, so hurry!

SERVICE BAZAAR

Welcome to Coterie Chicago!

AND welcome to the time of year when we start thinking about Pitchfork Music Festival!

I don’t know about you… but here in Chicago we are shaking off the winter and really looking forward to a warm spring and summer coming.  We are also sorting out the details and brewing some new ideas for this year’s Coterie Chicago at Pitchfork Music Festival July 19th- July 21st, 2013. The application is not yet up but will be soon.  Everyone on the email list will be notified first.
